Heidi Saylor started her project management career at Columbia College as a SMEin document imaging processing in 2007. In 2009, she became a systems analyst – a role that has evolved from power user, to technical support, to business process analyst, to project manager. This hybrid business/systems analyst and project management role is continuously evolving based on what the organization needs. Heidi is energized by learning the complexities of interdependences and finding a way to organize large transitions into manageable tasks to achieve institutional goals. Heidi is passionate about professional speaking. She has been a presenter in over thirty-five speaking engagements in the last four years and attended dozens more.
Heidi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology, as well as Yellow and Green Belt LEAN Six Sigma certification. She is currently working towards her Project Management Professional certification, which she plans to earn in 2018. She is an active member of the PMI Columbia Network Lunch series. She also currently serves as Vice President on Hyland’s Higher Education VOGUE (Vertical OnBase Group of User Experts) board. She has been involved with the VOGUE Board since 2013. The VOGUE board plans two conference sessions, networking events, and social events at the annual conference. The group coordinates educational events throughout the year such as webinars, round table discussions, blogs, and newsletters.
