In Part 2 of our focus on risk planning, attendees will participate in an interactive simulated project risk assessment and risk plan development. A risk plan template will be used to capture the results. Participants will provide input to the plan, similar to a project team, and will also be able to observe how the template can serve as documentation for risk identification, ranking, strategy and plan development.

Grab your coffee and breakfast, put on your risk speculation hat, and plan to take part in this interactive risk plan development.

Please let us know you’re planning to join in by registering for the virtual meeting on our website at https://pmimidmo.org. A link to the virtual meeting will be emailed to registrants prior to the event.

Even the most entry-level project managers can usually recite the five phases of a project. Unfortunately, we often receive projects that have skipped a phase (or two) or at least did not take advantage of the key benefits of each phase.

We will recap the “what should happen,” lament the “what gets missed,” and share best practices and course-correction tips. We hope you will join us this month!

On October 22 we continue with the last of our five-part series – “Project Progress by Phase: The Crescendo of Closure”

You will receive a link to Zoom 24 hours and 1 hour before the meeting.

On 03 November 2010, a group from the Mid-Missouri Chapter gathered to discuss and organize the PMO Forum Network. Our early topics included, types of PMOs, how to staff a PMO, and authority vs responsibility. Now we discuss being remote and exercising our negotiation skills. Please join us for my final meeting as the facilitator to discuss how the focus of the PMO has changed over the past 10 years.

Please note – this is a virtual meeting. Meeting connection information will be sent to participants prior to the meeting.
