02-08-2022 7:30 am -8:30 am
Online/Virtual
Free

Project Managers today face cyber security vulnerabilities at an increasing rate; therefore, they must be proactive and learn what to look for and how to help prevent critical cyber security challenges before they happen.  This first of a two-part session provides insight into best practices to assist project management professionals in addressing cyber security challenges and threats to navigate the challenging waters of security vulnerabilities that may exist when managing projects. You’ll gain a high-level understanding of cyber security-related policies, controls, and cyber incident response planning, as well as how to navigate through breaches or incidents and avoid similar vulnerabilities within your projects.

Grab your coffee and breakfast and plan to join us online. A link to the virtual meeting will be provided on registration.

Professional Development Conference 2022

Based on feedback from previous surveys we will be canceling the 2021 Professional Development Conference. We are incredibly disappointed, as you likely are, too. While many people will be vaccinated and signs are good that it will be safer to gather, we understand professional development budgets have been hit hard and many people will not have funding to participate in this type of event. We are already working to offer our next PDC in October 2022!

Speakers for our Chapter's Events

We welcome proposals from passionate speakers interested in sharing their experiences, knowledge and expertise on such topics as general business and strategy, leadership, project management, and technical or industry-specific specialties. Our professional development events provide professional development units (PDUs) of educational information necessary for those attendees maintaining certification designations. Speakers are also eligible to claim PDUs for their creation and delivery of the presentation material.
