Speaker: Eric Kopinski is currently the Program Director for MoDOT on the Improve I-70 projects. Eric has been with the department for 15 years. Prior to his current role, Eric worked in a number of different roles around the state. Eric has a degree in Civil Engineering from Missouri S&T and is excited to speak with the chapter.
As Program Director for MoDOT on the I-70 Projects, Eric Kopinski has a great deal of valuable experience that he brings from managing the largest project in the department’s history. During his discussion, Eric will address the following topics:
- An overview of the funding of Improve I-70
- How the statewide project was evaluated for different segments
- Contract procurement methods
- The importance of communication and public engagement
