Session Description:
Join PMI Mid-Missouri for a special behind-the-scenes tour of the Roy Blunt NextGen Precision Health Building, the largest research investment in University of Missouri history and a nationally recognized hub for interdisciplinary collaboration. Designed to accelerate the journey from scientific discovery to patient care, this state-of-the-art facility brings together researchers, clinicians, and industry partners under one roof to tackle some of today’s most pressing health challenges.
For project management professionals, the NextGen facility offers a unique opportunity to explore the strategic planning, stakeholder coordination, and organizational vision required to deliver and operate a complex, mission-driven initiative of this scale. Participants will gain insight into how large capital projects are aligned with long-term organizational goals, how diverse stakeholder interests are balanced, and how ongoing research programs are managed within a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Registration is capped at 15 attendees; Parking: Parking Structure #7 (PS7), 1095 Virginia Avenue, Columbia, MO 65211. The Roy Blunt NextGen Precision Health Building is located directly across Virginia Avenue from the parking structure and adjacent to the MU Health and Truman VA hospital complexes.
